Date & time
For 45 years, the eleven-piece orchestra has been one of the most renowned salsa formations in Germany. With more than 1,200 concerts at home and abroad, "Havana" has repeatedly proven its reputation as a "figurehead for hot music".
The band, led by pianist and composer Kurt Klose, brings together top-class musicians from the German Latino scene. Rousing vocals by Rey Valencia and Sabine Wucherpfennig, virtuoso solos and a dynamic ensemble of percussion, wind instruments, bass, piano and guitar provide a spirited salsa firework display. The stylistic spectrum ranges from mambo and rumba to chachacha, bolero and bomba to plena and Latin soul.
