Special Storytime Afternoon at the Lebenstedt Public Library: Library staff read aloud from the best children’s books to the library’s youngest visitors.

Children between the ages of 3 and 6 will be transported to fantastical worlds filled with funny, exciting, or sad stories. Afterward, there will be painting, crafts, and games.

Participation is free. Please RSVP by calling 05341 / 839-3434 or emailing stadtbibliothekstadt.salzgitterde.

The City Library team looks forward to seeing lots of children!

Reading Aloud Day:

Germany’s largest read-aloud festival: People across the country read to children—at home, in schools, at daycare centers, or online. Join in and help highlight the importance of reading aloud.

Since 2004, DIE ZEIT, Stiftung Lesen, and the Deutsche Bahn Foundation—together with millions of participants—have been sending a clear message in support of reading aloud and, thereby, the future of children and our society!
