When great film classics meet virtuoso live musicians, the result is a concert experience full of imagery, emotion, and spine-tingling moments: With their new program, “Cinema Sounds,” the Viennese trio Cobario transports its audience into the fascinating world of film music.
With two guitars and a violin, the three musicians create impressive soundscapes that bring familiar film scenes to life in the mind’s eye. The musical range of this extraordinary concert evening spans from timeless masterpieces like “The Godfather” to the unforgettable melodies of Ennio Morricone, all the way to modern cult soundtracks such as “Game of Thrones.”
With great sensitivity, enthusiasm, and musical finesse, Cobario blends famous film melodies with their own compositions, which fit seamlessly into this cinematic atmosphere. The result is a unique sound that bridges the gap between concert, cinema, and musical storytelling.
“Cinema Sounds” is more than a concert—it is the cinema of the mind, wanderlust, and emotion transformed into sound. A live experience that lingers long after the concert ends.
