A group of incredibly virtuosic soloists who, despite this, produce a cohesive, compact sound and remain musically innovative in their various configurations. The double album "Colosseum Live" can certainly still be confidently described today as a gem in the history of rock.
In 2026, the “Colossus” will set out once again, much to the delight of countless fans. Under the motto “Out Into The Fields,” the original members—Chris Farlowe, Clem Clempson, and Mark Clarke—will perform not only Colosseum classics like “Lost Angeles” and the “Valentyne Suite” but also songs from the new studio album “XI” (Repertoire Records).
