Her powerful voice, influenced by Southern rock and blues, evokes the dusty heat of Texas. She won the prestigious Austin Music Award in the “Best Female Vocals” category at the South by Southwest Music Festival.
Born in Pasadena, Texas, she has already shared the stage with music legends such as Buddy Guy, Jeff Beck, and Patti Smith. A memorable moment in her career was meeting Tom Petty, who advised her: “Hey… Keep on Rockin’.” It’s advice that has stayed with her to this day.
Her musical partnership with Martin Hauke, guitarist for the Rolling Stones tribute band Voodoo Lounge, was a pivotal moment. His dry guitar style fits her music perfectly. Together, they’ve formed a “dream” band and are carrying on Petty’s advice: “Keep on Rockin’!”
