Indie pop meets indie rock: REEB combines catchy melodies with personal lyrics and a distinctive style. Since 2022, the musician has been releasing his own songs, producing much of the material himself, and has laid a strong foundation with his debut album, *Drama*. He now performs live on stage with his band—vibrant, honest, and with a palpable amount of heart.

Funk, jazz, and soul—raw, organic, and powerful. The Wolfsburg-based band interprets the spirit of this music in its own unique way. Led by singer and guitarist Bo Partacz, and driven by the tight grooves of his brother Leo on drums, bassist Daniela Hast, and pianist Giuseppe Pravata, CHILD stands for family, freedom, and genuine emotion. They’ve been playing together since 2023 and have steadily refined their sound.

A rock band that takes classic rock and reimagines it without compromise. Formed in 2025, the four musicians are known for a loud, direct, and authentic sound. Yevhenii Habai (vocals, guitar), Lasse Auweiler (guitar), Adrian Beil (bass), and Luca Levin (drums) embody a quiet self-assurance that needs no grand words. Their first singles are set to be released soon—with their debut album to follow.

The four-piece band combines high-energy pop rock, punk, and a healthy dose of their own creativity. In addition to select cover songs, they also perform their own original songs—shaped by influences such as Nirvana, Green Day, and the Ukrainian artist Valentin Strykalo. Their musical roots lie at the Ukrainian Cultural Center (KUT) in Hildesheim. There, the band has already celebrated anniversaries marking two years on stage and built a community that’s just as diverse as their sound. When Bastian Bartsch from the non-profit organization Bock auf Rock e.V. heard the band for the first time, he said, “This reminds me of the Festival of Cultures.” And that’s exactly right: Instability brings people, cultures, and musical energy together—just like Bock auf Rock, an association open to all the world’s cultures. Instability stands for diversity, passion, and the courage to forge its own path. Anyone who sees them live feels it immediately: This band is more than just music—it’s a statement.

After Splitter canceled, the organizer not only found a replacement—the concert has gained a real highlight: Jana from Salzgitter. Together with Instability from Hildesheim, she’ll bring fresh energy to our stage.
The singer from Salzgitter loves music, lives and breathes rhythm, and still finds time between work and dancing for her greatest passion: singing. And that’s exactly what Jana is: someone who doesn’t just make music—she lives it.
Last year, she already filled the stage in the Kirchgarten at the Altstadtfest with her energy—now she’s returning to show once again why she inspires so many. Jana is versatile, talented, authentic, and constantly surprises with new facets of her artistry. A true all-around talent you simply must experience.

“Young and Raw” has a clear goal: to give up-and-coming talent the chance to perform their own songs in front of an audience under professional conditions. Within an hour, the bands show what they’re made of—an important step for young musicians who want to gain their first stage experience and continue to develop their skills.
At the same time, the event focuses on regional solidarity. Through collaborations with bands from Braunschweig, Hildesheim, and Wolfsburg, the goal is to strengthen musical connections between the cities—an idea that is particularly close to the organizer’s heart.

“Young and Raw” was founded in 2024 by Bock auf Rock gemeinnütziger e. V. From the very beginning, one theme played a central role: inclusion and integration.
Many of the association’s members work at Lebenshilfe Salzgitter gemeinnützige GmbH—and it quickly became clear to them that the students and residents of Lebenshilfe should also be part of the events.
“That’s when I had the idea,” says Bastian Bartsch. “We launched a ‘Lebenshilfe Special.’” A ticket costs 5 euros—a price kept deliberately low to make participation possible.
The Family Support Service at Lebenshilfe Salzgitter has already ordered numerous tickets, Bartsch reports with delight.

Bastian Bartsch, Executive Director of Administration, Finance, and Sponsorship, and acting event director, speaks openly about the challenges involved in organizing such an event:
“It’s getting harder and harder to put on our events. We lack active club members to help with setup and takedown. Plus, consumer behavior has changed—many people make spontaneous decisions. This makes it increasingly difficult to plan events that break even.”
His wish is clear: More people should experience live music in person again. “Feeling the music on stage is so much better than just listening to it on Spotify.”
