Bicycle tour on the migration and industrial history of Salzgitter organized by the city history working group and the Volkshochschule of the city of Salzgitter.

The approximately 22-kilometre cycle tour starts at Lebenstedt train station and leads along the districts of Hallendorf and Watenstedt back to the center of the city's largest district. It takes a look at the history of migration, which has been closely linked to industrial history since the construction of the Reichswerke "Hermann Göring" under National Socialism and which has had a lasting impact on the image and life of the city to this day.

A good basic level of fitness and a roadworthy bicycle including helmet are required. Participation in the bike tour is at your own risk.
