However, the hatred against these women, which is particularly rampant in digital spaces, does not arise organically, but is regularly fueled by right-wing actors.

However, these campaigns work time and time again, as social media offers a perfect basic structure for its users to give free rein to their (trans)misogyny. This misogynistic basic tenor ultimately culminates in a global anti-feminist backlash."
