A good opportunity to get to know the state-approved town with brine spa operations and all its special features.
The guided tour "Steel & Brine" provides interesting facts about the steel sculptures around the Thermalsolbad and explains the special features of the brine in Salzgitter and how it is used.
City guide Dieter Krüger first explains the history of the works of art and then takes you along the underground brine pipeline to the graduation pavilion in the rose garden, where you can directly experience the healthy effects of the brine.
ATTENTION: This is not a circular tour. The start and finish are different. You must make your own way back to the starting point. A minimum number of 5 participants is required for the tour to take place, therefore prior registration is desirable.
Sturdy shoes are required for this route, as the paths are left to explore the sculptures in more detail.
There is a charge of 4 euros per person on site.
The meeting point is in Salzgitter-Bad in front of the entrance to the Thermalsolbad (Parkallee 3) at 2 pm.
The tour lasts a total of two hours.
Afterwards, there are various places to stop for refreshments in the old town center.
