The Salzgitter Games Festival is now taking place for the 33rd time.

Over five hundred games are waiting to be tried out free of charge on site. The members of Norddeutsche Spielekultur e.V. are happy to use their experience to help explain the rules or simply play along.
The games flea market offers older games from the association's stock for sale at a reasonable price. The proceeds are invested in new games and thus fully benefit future events.

Everyone is welcome, registration is not necessary. Admission is free, children under the age of 14 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Board, card and dice games are played:
- Current games and classic games
- Easy games for children aged six and over
- Games for families and beginners
- Challenging strategy games
