Inspired by the public debate about the cityscape by Federal Chancellor Friedrich Merz and his phrase "Ask your daughters", the idea of a joint photo shoot was born at the "Start.Punkt.Salzgitter" meeting place.

The young women make it clear: "We are daughters of this city ourselves and an active, important part of society - with our own perspectives, opinions and voices that need to be heard."

The exhibition was initiated by the Begegnungsstätte. The meeting place is run by Diakonie im Braunschweiger Land gGmbH - Salzgitter district office

To mark International Women's Day, there will be a screening of the movie "Barbie" on March 6, starting at 2 p.m. at the Kultiplex Salzgitter in Lebenstedt.

This is an offer of the open children and youth work of the city of Salzgitter, initiated by the girls' work group for girls and women in and from Salzgitter. From 6 years.
