Faulkner plays his music with great warmth and a keen sense of groove, blending Americana, rock, and singer-songwriter soul. Beautiful ballads on one end and powerful, groovy songs on the other fill the spectrum that this modern troubadour from “Down Under” embodies.
Jaimi grew up in the musical hub of Melbourne, where he learned his craft from the ground up. Gradually, he developed into a truly outstanding guitarist, with a penchant for blues, soul, gospel, and classic singer-songwriter styles. Along the way, he perfected his skills as a sound engineer, which not only enables him to record his latest albums on his own but also to bring his musical visions to life with precision.
His latest album, “Half of It,” encapsulates much of what has defined Jaime’s music to date: excellent guitar playing, profound lyrics, concise songwriting, and plenty of passion in his voice. With his new band, the charming Australian is able to showcase his songs live to their fullest—with captivating instrumentation and outstanding harmonies.
