The lecture
From Munich to Hamburg - from the museum to the listeners of the livestream for all the senses!
What's special: Three friends of art come together to discuss important works of art from the Neue Pinakothek in Munich and the Hamburger Kunsthalle. And participants can take part on their home computer, smartphone or smart TV.
You need to have a few utensils ready. An invitation to feel surfaces and materials and activate your sense of smell. The utensils to have ready are: a lemon and some fresh coffee powder, a lipstick, make-up brush or pocket mirror.
You not only listen to the stimulating conversation, but also taste, smell and feel the art. Participants at the small and large screens can get involved in experiencing art with all their senses.
The first episode focuses on two top works by French painter Édouard Manet (1832 - 1883): "Nana" from 1877 in the Hamburger Kunsthalle and "Le Déjeuner", a highlight of the Neue Pinakothek in Munich from 1868.
