Redesigned every year, visitors can look forward to a cozy, magical display of lights this year.

Inspired by the Scandinavian way of life, a cozy winter garden takes shape. Wood, fir trees, and warm lighting create a peaceful, natural, and inviting Nordic atmosphere of well-being.

The Gradier Pavilion is transformed into a cozy winter lounge and, as the “Hygge Pavilion,” invites visitors to linger and take a deep breath. A sparkling, Nordic starry sky takes shape in one of the rose arches, creating a special eye-catcher.
There’s also a perfect photo spot to discover in the rose garden, where you can capture a truly personal keepsake moment.

For the opening on Friday, November 27, free willow-weaving workshops will take place from 5 to 8 p.m. Under expert guidance, participants ages 12 and up can create their own star out of willow and take it home.

The workshops take place hourly with a maximum of ten participants. Participation is free, but registration at innenstadtwis-salzgitterde is recommended due to limited space.

The light installation is funded by the Salzgitter Economic and Innovation Development Agency (WIS) and organized in close collaboration with bene lux GmbH.
