The meeting point and starting point for the tour is the visitor center of Salzgitter Flachstahl GmbH at the plant entrance (Gate 1), Eisenhüttenstraße, 38239 Salzgitter.
The tour is not wheelchair-accessible; there are steps and some walking distances to navigate.

The meeting point and start of the tour is always at the Salzgitter Flachstahl GmbH visitor center at the plant entrance TOR 1, Eisenhüttenstraße, near Watenstedt.
