On the first project day, the kindergarten group visits the city library. Fairy tales are read aloud with the help of picture book cinemas, accompanied by games and handicrafts.
On one of the following days, a member of library staff visits this group to creatively practise and design "passing on stories" in the kindergarten.
The third day belongs to the teachers: the children tell another group in the kindergarten what they have experienced and this new group can then listen to a new fairy tale in the library the following month.
A "treasure chest" filled with fairy tale books remains in the groups for four weeks and is then handed over to the next group.
The project is designed to run for one kindergarten year. It aims to familiarize the library and kindergartens with each other for this period and beyond.
