KVG mobility station

Construction of the KVG mobility station at Lebenstedt station began in April 2018. It was opened on January 2, 2019.

The project is funded by the Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety

The mobility station at the train station in Salzgitter-Lebenstedt is intended to replace the previous container solution for travel advice and ticket sales provided by KVG and Deutsche Bahn. This should create a much better connection between pedestrians, bicycles, buses and trains and offer travelers greater convenience than before.

For cyclists:
- The previous open bicycle racks will be

Progress:

April 2018: Construction of the station has started!

02.01.2019: The station was opened after nine months of construction! All users can now use the mobility station.
