Salzgitter

Protecting the climate - acting sustainably

There are two new features during the "4th Salzgitter Energy and Climate Protection Days", which take place from September 10 to 13: A music and environmental cabaret and a closing event for young and old.

In addition, the city of Salzgitter and its eleven project partners are offering a varied program of lectures, hands-on activities, an exhibition and practical examples with an exchange of experiences.

City planning officer Michael Tacke thanked everyone for the varied program, which aims to provide citizens with comprehensive and diverse information on the important topics of energy and climate protection. How can I use solar energy for domestic use? What subsidies are available for which measures? What does mobility with alternative drive systems look like? are just some of the questions that will be answered in an exhibition in the atrium of the town hall in Lebenstedt under the motto "Protecting the climate - acting sustainably".

In addition, the project partners are inviting visitors to attend lectures and take part in hands-on activities to develop ideas on how the future can be shaped sustainably.
