Solar energy offers many opportunities. The Solar Check provides information about these opportunities until October 18. This includes an analysis of the house that is to be used for solar energy. An energy expert from the Lower Saxony consumer advice center comes to your home and analyzes the energy consumption and the condition of the roof (size, orientation, inclination and superstructure).
The house and its technology provide information on the integration of solar power and solar heat. The usual energy consumption of the residents indicates how high the proportion of environmentally and climate-friendly, quiet and independent solar energy can be. Subsidies make modernization with solar energy even more attractive.
The experts provide a neutral and objective analysis and also give tips on what needs to be considered when converting the roof. The technology for solar energy is sophisticated and easy to install. The experts also provide information on the possibilities of applying for subsidies.
The solar check then forms the basis for further decisions by homeowners.
The special feature: The personal contribution is 30 euros (value of the consultation: 285 euros!). The one to two-hour consultation takes place after registration with the climate protection manager of the city of Salzgitter, Jan Holzenbecher, phone 05341-839-4141, or e-mail jan.holzenbecherstadt.salzgitterde
When registering, homeowners will be given the details of the appointment with the energy expert, who can also identify himself at the on-site appointment.
Anyone who would like to check in advance whether their own roof is suitable for solar use can do an initial check online at http://www.solare-stadt.de/zgb/Start.
However, this check does not replace a consultation with an energy expert!
The solar checks are carried out as part of the implementation of the city of Salzgitter's climate protection concept and are a cooperation project between the Climate Protection and Energy Agency of Lower Saxony, the city of Salzgitter, the Regional Energy Agency e.V. Braunschweig and the Consumer Advice Center of Lower Saxony.
The aim is to strengthen the decentralized use of solar energy, primarily for personal use, with a qualified, independent and cost-effective range of advisory services, to contribute to sustainability and thus to climate protection.
