Steterburg redevelopment advisory board

There is a redevelopment advisory board in and for Steterburg. The members all want to volunteer their time for Steterburg. At the first meeting, the new committee agreed on rules of procedure and discussed the next projects.

The Steterburg Redevelopment Advisory Board consists of five residents from Steterburg, five representatives from various institutions and ten deputies. All members would like to contribute to the redevelopment advisory board on a voluntary basis in order to support the implementation of the overall "Socially Integrative City of Steterburg" measure.

In addition to the ten voting members, the redevelopment advisory board also includes permanent advisory members: Employees of the City of Salzgitter, the Steterburg Neighborhood Management as well as one person from each local council faction represented in the local council north-east and the non-attached members. The advisory members have no voting rights.

At the constituent meeting, the members agreed on rules of procedure that form the basis for the voluntary work of the members.

Among other things, these rules stipulate that the redevelopment advisory board deals with issues relating to the implementation of the overall "Socially Integrative City of Steterburg" measure. It incorporates the concerns of as many different social groups and institutions as possible into its work. The focus is on developing recommendations for the implementation of the overall "Socially Integrative City of Steterburg" measure.

The redevelopment advisory board is results-oriented and develops ideas. The members discuss problems and developments in the redevelopment area.

The redevelopment advisory board works on a voluntary basis and is formed for the duration of the electoral term of the Salzgitter City Council. The 17th electoral term ends on 31.10.2021. The members waive any compensation for expenses. The redevelopment advisory board meets approximately three times a year and is open to the public.

A further task of the redevelopment advisory board is to decide on funds from the disposal fund. The disposal fund provides money for ideas and measures to make Steterburg more beautiful and attractive. There is a flyer that contains everything you need to know about this. This is available on the website of the city of Salzgitter and the neighborhood management.

At its first meeting, the redevelopment advisory board has already decided on the first application for a disposition fund.

The Redevelopment Advisory Board has also decided to meet again on December 5, 2019 to discuss applications for the Disposal Fund in 2019. The deadline for applications is Friday, November 22, 2019.

Neighborhood managers Diana Graf and Sabine Naats also provided information on the status of the Steterburg Socially Integrative City.
