Salzgitter

Starting signal in Watenstedt

On Wednesday, March 13, residents of Watenstedt who wish to sell their homes as part of the comprehensive urban development project of the company "Industriepark Salzgitter-Watenstedt Entwicklungs-GmbH " (ISWE) will be able to speak directly to a local contact person.

Gottfried Teuber will initially provide information on the possibility of selling properties in the district and answer questions on the subject of "selling" every Wednesday from 9 am to 4 pm. He will hold these office hours in the building of the volunteer fire department, Am Ehrenmal 10 A, in Watenstedt and can be reached by e-mail at gottfried.teuberstadt.salzgitterde and by cell phone on 0160 / 97821756. Individual appointments can also be arranged with the office outside of office hours.

The sale of the properties is voluntary and is an offer from ISWE, which will be called "Projektgesellschaft Salzgitter-Watenstedt GmbH" (PSW) in future, to the owners. The future PSW will maintain a pre-registration list in which those wishing to sell can be entered. The company is asking interested parties to inform it in writing or via the local contact person by May 31 whether they are willing to sell. This should provide an initial overview. It is also possible to register after this date. This is not necessary for those who have already been included in the pre-registration list.

Market value appraisals will be prepared by the publicly appointed expert committee for the properties that are to be sold in 2019. Market value appraisals will be carried out for the other properties depending on the time of the planned sale. Sales negotiations will then be conducted on the basis of the market value appraisals.

Lord Mayor Klingebiel emphasizes: "The Council and Lord Mayor have now created the formal prerequisites, an important step towards eliminating the urban planning grievance and resolving the conflict of interests between residential and commercial use in the long term. Two things are particularly important to me: firstly, that the promises made to the owners in Watenstedt are now followed by action and secondly, the principle of voluntariness. No one will be forced to move out of Watenstedt. The city is making an offer via its project company that can be accepted or rejected."
