Advice on "Solar power from your own roof"

The city of Salzgitter and the Regionalen EnergieAgentur e.V. (REA) are offering individual consultations on the topic of "Solar power from your own roof" until July 8.

Solar power is a hot topic for many people.

Interest in generating electricity with photovoltaics is growing in the face of climate change and dependence on imported energy. A solar installation on your own roof offers the opportunity to generate fossil-free electricity for your own consumption and feed surpluses into the grid.

Homeowners should inform themselves well in advance. The conditions in the house are just as important as determining the current and future electricity requirements.

The advisory campaign is supported by the Climate Protection and Energy Agency of Lower Saxony (KEAN). "We can only protect our climate by switching to renewable energies," emphasizes its representative Barbara Mussack. "We also need sufficient electricity from renewable sources in view of the use of heat pumps and electromobility."
