An energy consultant from Verbraucherzentale Niedersachsen will first provide basic knowledge about generating solar power on your own roof. After the presentation, participants can ask their questions live to other advisors in smaller groups. For example, they can ask about technical and economic aspects, their own electricity consumption and the feed-in tariff.
In addition, individual questions relating to specific circumstances in their own home can be put to the experts.
"We want to impart knowledge and provide advice so that interested parties are well informed," explains Andrea Keßler from the Regional Energy Agency.
"We can only protect our climate by switching to renewable energies. We need sufficient electricity from renewable sources to use heat pumps and electromobility. Well-informed people can make the right decisions for their own homes. We want to contribute to this in this joint event with the Lower Saxony Consumer Advice Center, the Lower Saxony Climate Protection and Energy Agency and the Regional Energy Agency," emphasizes Jan Holzenbecher, Climate Protection Manager for the city of Salzgitter.
It may be interesting to take a look at the solar roof register in advance. There you can find out how much electricity can be generated on your own roof. The register can be found at https://www.solardach-regionalverband.de/
