Since March 27:

• The parking spaces at the daycare center on Klosterweg (adjacent to the school) are being expanded. The work is expected to be completed after four weeks (construction phase 1.1.).
• Subsequently (probably from the end of April), the parking spaces adjacent to the sports hall on Schulring will be extended. The work is expected to be completed after four weeks (end of May) (construction phase 1.2).
• For this construction work, the container location at Schulring and the entrance gate at the school sports field will have to be relocated. The entrance gate will be moved to the street Unter den Eichen.
• Parking and stopping restrictions will be put in place at the individual construction stages (see diagram).
• A total of 20 parking spaces will be available to employees of the elementary school and the family center once the construction work is complete.
• Temporary restrictions must be expected. The administration asks for your understanding.
• There may be changes due to weather conditions.

What happens next?

July/August:

During the summer vacations, the public square in front of the elementary school will be redesigned (construction phase 2).
In future, pedestrians and cyclists will be able to walk and cycle directly along the extension of Breslauer Straße into Klosterweg without having to take the previous detour around the school.
What has been done so far:

The start of the redesign of the public square in front of the elementary school began in February with the felling and clearing work between Schulring, Unter den Eichen and Klosterweg.

What can everyone look forward to?

A new place to linger and play is being created in front of the elementary school. Greenery around the area will beautify the square.

The redesign will create a new direct link from Breslauer Straße to Klosterweg and Hagenholz.

A district garden is planned between Klosterweg and the new square in 2024.
