Lecture and advice: Optimizing heating and using subsidies

Optimizing your own heating and using subsidies: On Monday, February 13, the city of Salzgitter is offering a free online lecture with group consultation on this topic as part of the "clever heizen!" series. Registration is possible.

Information and advice in the "clever heating" series.

During the free lecture in the "clever heating!" series on Monday, February 13, from 5 to 7 p.m., the possibilities for more efficient heating operation, the possible switch to CO2-free technologies and funding opportunities will be presented online.

Afterwards, participants can talk to experts from the Lower Saxony Consumer Advice Center in smaller groups and ask individual questions. Owners of residential buildings are well advised to minimize their heating consumption in the long term or to switch their heating system completely to renewables. This benefits the climate, is easy on the wallet and makes you less dependent on fossil fuels.

"With the information from the presentation and group consultation, owners learn to assess the condition of their system and receive tips on how to improve it," explains Gerhard Krenz from the Climate Protection and Energy Agency of Lower Saxony.

"Anyone who is already thinking about renewing their system will receive information on the heating options available in the building, including renewable energies. This insight into the technology, costs, funding options and CO2 balance helps with the decision-making process," explains Karin Merkel from the Lower Saxony consumer advice center.

Registration is required. Anyone interested can register at www.klimaschutz-niedersachsen.de/veranstaltungen (opens in a new tab). The number of places is limited.

Background:

"clever heizen!" is a joint project of the Lower Saxony Consumer Advice Center, the Lower Saxony Climate Protection and Energy Agency and the city of Salzgitter.
