Lecture and advice: Will a heat pump work in my home?

Does a heat pump work in my house?: The city of Salzgitter is offering a free online lecture with group consultation on this topic on Monday, February 19, as part of the "clever heating!" series. Registration is necessary.

Heat pumps are the focus of the presentation in the "clever heating!" series.

During the free lecture in the "clever heating!" series on Monday, February 19, from 5 to 7 p.m., information about how heat pumps work will be provided online. In addition, various system types will be presented and the requirements for the efficient use of heat pumps in existing buildings will be explained.

Heat pumps are now installed in every second new building in Germany - but there is still a lot of potential in existing buildings, as heat pumps can usually be used efficiently and economically in older buildings too.

However, many interested parties are unsure about the conditions under which heat pumps can be used and what measures may still be necessary on and in the building to enable the use of heat pumps.

After a presentation in which the basic knowledge is imparted, participants can then take part in individual consultations in small groups to find out what specifically needs to be done in their own building in the short or long term if they want to convert to a heat pump.

Registration is required. Interested parties can register at www.klimaschutz-niedersachsen.de/veranstaltungen. The number of places is limited.

"clever heizen!" is a joint project of the Lower Saxony Consumer Advice Center, the Lower Saxony Climate Protection and Energy Agency and the city of Salzgitter. The consultations are part of the energy consultations offered by the consumer advice center and are funded by the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Protection.
