Salzgitter

Candidates wanted: Award of the "Bunte Sole" 2025

On Sunday, October 5, at 4 p.m., the "Bunte Sole" prize will once again be awarded by the city of Salzgitter and the Citizens' Service for Migrants. Candidates can now be nominated for the award.

The prize, which is endowed with 2,000 euros, is Salzgitter's former "Integration Prize", which has been awarded since 2013.

It serves to recognize outstanding achievements, but also small everyday things that help to promote integration in Salzgitter and are of key importance to the city. The prize can be awarded to individuals or groups of individuals, but also to associations that have distinguished themselves through such commitment.

Every citizen has until Friday, August 29 to submit suggestions for potential award winners to the city's Social Planning and Integration Department or the Citizens' Service for Migrants, or to apply themselves. An independent jury will then decide who will be awarded the "Bunte Sole".

The location of the award ceremony is yet to be announced. A varied evening program with different artists from the fields of dance, comedy and singing will once again provide the framework.

As every year, admission to the event on October 5 is free of charge. In addition to the artistic performances and gastronomic offerings, great prizes will once again be raffled off this year.
