The Salzgitter Senior Citizens and Care Support Center and the Salzgitter/Peine/Wolfenbüttel Police Inspectorate are therefore inviting people to an information event on the topic of "fake police officers" on Tuesday, November 4, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Salzgitter-Bad Senior Citizens' Meeting Center on Braunschweiger Straße 137a.

The speaker will be Sigmar Aust, the police department's crime prevention officer. He will provide information and preventative education on the topic. On the one hand, he will explain that the police do not, for example, answer cell phones when money is needed for an operation or as bail.
