Out of the hamster wheel with the VHS

The Volkshochschule (VHS) of the city of Salzgitter has free places on its course "Raus aus dem Hamsterrad - ein starkes Außen resultiert aus einem selbstbewussten Innen", which is recognized as educational leave.

Finding and maintaining balance: Kerstin Breshler-Moser, educational assistant at the VHS, is happy to answer questions about educational leave.

Content: Do as the bamboo does - because it is considered the most resistant plant in the world! It grows extremely quickly and even barriers don't stop it from sprouting roots. Its trunk sways in a storm and does not break. Bamboo is evergreen and simply shakes off heavy snow loads.

The participants learn, for example

  • to train their own resilience despite stressful events
  • to expand their ability to act
  • deal more calmly with the challenges of everyday life
  • increase their quality of life with energy boosters

In a nutshell: get off the hamster wheel and simply become more resilient.

The course "Get out of the hamster wheel - a strong outside results from a self-confident inside" will take place from Monday, November 10 to Friday, November 14, from 9 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. at the Volkshochschule in Lebenstedt (Thiestraße 26a) and costs 220 euros plus 49.50 euros for the textbook, which will be charged to the lecturer

Registration deadline for working people using their entitlement to educational leave: October 6.

The course can also be booked as a one-week intensive course by people who do not wish to take educational leave. In this case, registration is possible until shortly before the start of the course.
