After thorough examination of all options, access to the construction site will be via the Gänsebleek. No construction work will be carried out in Gänsebleek during this construction project. Residents in Gänsebleek have already been notified in writing via a residents' information leaflet.

The construction work extends over around 1.5 kilometers. Among other things, the sewer will be laid along a farm track that also serves as a cycle path.

For safety reasons, the path cannot be used by cyclists and pedestrians during the construction work and will therefore be completely closed. A detour route will be signposted.

During the construction period, there may be disruptions due to construction traffic in Salder.

The construction project "New construction of the wastewater central collector between Salder and Lebenstedt" is part of a section of the decommissioning of the southern sewage treatment plant in Salzgitter-Bad and is part of the wastewater disposal concept of the city of Salzgitter.

In future, wastewater from the south of the city will be routed to the sewage treatment plant in the northern part of the city.

The client is ASG Abwasserentsorgung Salzgitter GmbH.
