On Saturday, April 11 and Sunday, April 12, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the workshop "Photo development in a natural way" organized by the Municipal Art Collections of the City of Salzgitter invites you to rediscover photography.
During the analogue film workshop, visitors will have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with sustainable film development. Together, participants will create a developing chemistry from purely natural materials, which can then be used to develop 35mm black and white films in an environmentally friendly way. The necessary materials (ivy, tree bark...) are sought out in the nearby castle park. This ecological approach offers alternative methods of photography production and surprises with unconventional image results.
The workshop is suitable for beginners and photography enthusiasts who want to make their creative work more sustainable. No previous knowledge is required. If you have an analog camera, you are welcome to bring it along.
