Creative Fall Break Program at the Salder Castle Municipal Museum

When the wind sweeps through the trees and makes the leaves dance, the Salder Castle Municipal Museum invites children ages 6 and up to participate in a craft program on two afternoons during fall break.

On Tuesday, October 20, and Thursday, October 22, the museum’s young visitors can get creative with arts and crafts.

In keeping with the season, Tuesday, October 20, will be all about “wind.” Creative wind chimes made from natural materials and classic pinwheels will take on the challenge of rough autumn storms.
On Thursday, October 22, things will get spookily fun—terrifyingly imaginative monster figures made from paper towel rolls and blood-sucking flying creatures made from cardboard can be taken home once they’re finished. There are no limits to the imagination.

Dates and Registration

The learning workshop at the Städtisches Museum Schloss Salder will be open on October 20 and 22 from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. All necessary materials will be provided on site.
