Kristina Hauff reads from Schattengrünes Tal

Author Kristina Hauff will be reading from her book "Schattengrünes Tal" on Friday, April 17, at 7:30 p.m. in the Kniestedter Kirche in Salzgitter-Bad.

A psychological suspense novel set against the dark and intoxicating backdrop of the Black Forest.

Plot of the book

In the middle of the Black Forest lies the hotel "Zum alten Forsthaus", whose best days are long behind it. Only a few guests stray into the increasingly dilapidated house. So it is all the more surprising that Daniela, a seemingly vulnerable stranger, takes up permanent residence here. Lisa, the owner's adult daughter, takes care of her. While Daniela blossoms and quickly integrates into the village community, close confidants turn away from Lisa - ultimately even her husband. When autumn finally arrives, the days get colder and the shadows in the green valley get darker, Lisa begins to suspect that her world is about to fall apart.
