About the Content: Anyone looking to modernize their home is usually faced with the question of what to do first. In this presentation, Jan Holzenbecher from the City of Salzgitter’s Climate Protection Management department will show how any home can be modernized step by step in a cost-effective manner and brought up to current standards. Whether it’s insulation, heating, solar power, energy storage, or electric mobility: by building on one another, all of these elements can be incorporated gradually. “We start with small steps and make a big impact!”

The free lecture “Step by Step: From Existing Housing Stock to a Climate-Neutral Energy-Efficient Home” will take place at the Volkshochschule Lebenstedt (Thiestraße 26a) on Tuesday, September 22, at 6:30 p.m. The registration deadline is September 18.

At the Volkshochschule in Salzgitter-Bad (Kniestedter Herrenhaus, Braunschweiger Straße 137), the free lecture will be held on Tuesday, September 29, also at 6:30 p.m. The registration deadline is September 25.
