The large PLAYMOBIL exhibition by diorama artist Oliver Schaffer at the Salder Castle Municipal Museum in Salzgitter-Salder is now presenting itself in new splendor: acrobats, clowns and happy organic cows are now moving in where Christmas market hustle and bustle once prevailed.
With the large-scale installation of a colorful circus world and a modern organic farm, the show is setting new accents just in time for spring 2026.
The new highlight of the exhibition is the "Circus Romani", which takes guests into the magical world of artistry from 1991. The centerpiece is the magnificent circus arena, in which detailed scenes from high-wire artistry to trick riding can be seen. Visitors can now immerse themselves in a sparkling circus ring, which shows acrobatic performances, exotic animals and a variety of clowns and artists in detailed scenes. The highlight: All sets are from the 90s and take PLAYMOBIL fans back to their own nostalgic PLAYMOBIL memories.
As a contrast to the colorful circus hustle and bustle, an organic farm has been skillfully staged in a display case. Here, the theme of sustainability can be experienced in a playful way: from photovoltaic systems on the roofs of the stables to species-appropriate free-range farming and the farm store with regional products, the diorama reflects modern agricultural trends.
By the way: All playsets in the new PLAYMOBIL farm world are made from more than 80 percent sustainable materials.
The PLAYMOBIL exhibition is open from Tuesday to Sunday/holidays from 11 am to 5 pm. Admission is free!
