In the Kniestedter Kirche in Salzgitter-Bad, Majimbi Mergner (vocals), accompanied on the piano by Elkmar Winter, Aneka Viering (recitation) and Björn Försterling (recitation) will present chansons and cabaret texts that focus on uncles and aunts, and were sometimes even written by them.

As many people have uncles and aunts and/or also know the opposite perspective, there was a large pool from which cabaret artists and chanson writers drew to entertain and amuse their fellow and posterity, and to a certain extent themselves.

The concert with cabaret elements is a cooperative event of the Literarische Gesellschaft Salzgitter and the Literaturbüro im Fachdienst Kultur der Stadt Salzgitter.
