Anyone under the age of 18 who wants to start a job must undergo a medical examination (youth health and safety examination). Employers are not allowed to employ young people without this examination.

The following are required for this

• an examination authorization certificate (serves as a billing document and must be handed in to the examining doctor) and
• a questionnaire (serves to describe the current physical and mental situation and must be completed in full and submitted to the examining doctor).
