What is an inclusion conference?
In accordance with the Lower Saxony Disability Equality Act, the city of Salzgitter must hold inclusion conferences every five years.
Anyone who is interested in the topic of inclusion of people with disabilities can attend this conference.
Regardless of whether you are affected by a disability yourself, are a relative of a person with a disability, are professionally involved in the topic or simply want to find out what's new in the field of inclusion - there are offers and information for all areas of interest. It is also a good opportunity for laypeople and professionals to talk to each other.
Prerequisite for participation: You can just drop by.
Registration would only be desirable for the lectures, so that the organizers can see how many people would like to attend the lectures and can plan better.
Event location: Council chamber on the second floor of the town hall in Lebenstedt (accessible by elevator and wheelchair ramp).
Time: From 9.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m. (market of opportunities and presentations)

State Education Center for the Hearing Impaired/Mobile Hearing Service:
- Get to know transmission technology.
- Information on how helpful they are in everyday life.
Salzgitter traffic watch:
- Stay mobile but safe! Information on the safe use of rollators, cars and bicycles/pedelecs.
Integration Specialist Service (IFD)
The IFD supports severely disabled people, people with equivalent disabilities and people at risk of disability and their employers.
- Poster walk on "invisible" disabilities.
