The musician and the musician have never stopped at anything, and that remains the case. Their new songs make full use of their full range of instruments - guitar, flutes, bass, Irish bouzouki, drums and vocals. The sound is rich and powerful, the beat drives forward. The tapped influences are - in addition to Irish music - bluegrass and rock. The band also looks to the USA. Familiar songs are reinterpreted, unknown songs are brought to the fore.

Characteristic are again the new own pieces with the special sound of the band. No one should be surprised when German lyrics are heard from the speakers. Michaela Jeretzky's mezzo-soprano lends the songs an unmistakable warmth and power. Stefan Gliwitzki's voice is often compared to that of Mark Knopfler, his playing on the Irish bouzouki is refreshingly unorthodox. The musician creates the drum sound with special beat boards - a must-see and must-hear.

Big and small stages, festivals, churches - the band is at home everywhere. They think little of standing still. The mix is like the musician - surprising and unpredictable. Original compositions and alienated stolen goods alternate, often blurring the boundaries. Traditional songs, settings of Shakespeare and Goethe, Wilhelm Busch and Metallica are not forgotten either.

Tone Fish has been playing non-stop since the beginning, more than 1,500 concerts are a statement. However, simply going on like this does not fit in with their Olympic aspirations; instead, the band is constantly reinventing itself.

On the current tour are: In the trio: Michaela Jeretzky (vocals, flute, bass) Stefan Gliwitzki (vocals, guitar, bouzouki) Rhythm section: The Tap Jacks - Bratt (Great Brettannia) and Bretta (Brettagne).
