Unfortunately, there are always people who do not dispose of their waste properly and thus pollute our environment. The SRB invites all citizens to take a stand against littering and set an example for more environmental awareness and a sense of responsibility - for a clean Salzgitter. Whether alone or in a group, everyone can help to clean up public areas from carelessly discarded waste.
Anyone who wants to can register for the city cleaning day until March 13, 2026 as follows

The name, address, number of participants and the desired cleaning area, which must be a public area, must be stated.
As the organizer of the spring clean, the municipal management company hopes for lively participation with many registrations in 2026.
It will provide garbage bags for the spring clean. Bags will be handed out from March 9, 2026 at the SRB, Korbmacherweg 5, in Lebenstedt from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 12 noon and on Thursdays from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m., depending on the number of participants registered. The SRB will collect and dispose of the filled bags.
