The bus stop will be relocated. Residents will be informed by letter. Contact persons from the city and ASG will be available to answer residents' questions.

ASG will first begin with the expansion of the sewer network before the road expansion of the approximately 300 meter long second construction phase begins in sections. Parallel to the road expansion, WEVG is examining the laying of empty conduits for the broadband expansion.

The work will be carried out in two sections:

Section 1: Adalbert-Stifter-Straße junction to Gustav-Freytag-Straße junction, intermediate stop at Simon-Dach-Straße.

Section 2: up to Matthias-Claudius-Straße/Gerhart-Hauptmann-Straße/Gustav-Freytag-Straße.

During this time, the road will be fully closed in sections with local detour (see information below).

Residents should be able to reach their properties at all times if possible. Should there be any restrictions for construction reasons, they will be informed promptly. A contact person from the city will be on site to answer residents' questions about the work.

The expansion work on this section will take around eight months. The city asks residents and neighbors for their understanding for the inconvenience caused by this construction work. A higher volume of traffic is expected, particularly in Heinrich-von-Kleist-Straße and Bert-Brecht-Straße.

The costs for the expansion of the second section are estimated at around 700,000 euros.

The plans for the third construction phase (Matthias-Claudius-Straße to Pappeldamm) will follow.
