6 p.m., Department for Integration of the City of Salzgitter, cabaret program "Drama Türkin" with Senay Duzcu (Kulturscheune, Thiestraße 22).

About the content: "A "drama" - for the rebelliously refreshing and profound comedian Senay Duzcu, Turkish stand-up comedian, this means that she is not a typical Turkish woman. This is a drama for her society! But every attempt to put a conventional stamp on her fails: as a German-Turkish woman, she is "too modern" for the old-fashioned, "too traditional" for the younger generation and "too emancipated" for men as an independent woman.

In her program, she also explains that it was a drama for her family that she did not become a typical Turkish woman. Her parents would have liked her to become a proper housewife and marry a Turkish man. Because she couldn't achieve all of this as a woman, she was always the black sheep of the family. All her experiences brought her extremely funny situations, which she tells and laughs about on stage.

In 2007, Duzcu received the German-Turkish Friendship Award in the field of culture and has been one of the best comedy migrants in the country for many years."

Admission is free of charge. Registrations with seat reservations can be made in advance at the following e-mail address: integrationstadt.salzgitterde
