The committee was informed about the update of the rent index. This was prepared in 2023 as a simple rent index in accordance with the Rent Index Ordinance on the basis of a survey of privately financed rented apartments in the area of the city of Salzgitter. It is based on data collected in the period from November 2022 to February 2023 specifically for the purpose of preparing the rent index. The rent index was prepared as a table rent index.
