The Volkshochschule (VHS) of the City of Salzgitter has openings in its new course, “Urban Healthy Street Food,” which will take place on October 27.

Street food is delicious, but it often contains a lot of fat, sugar, and calories. In the “Urban Healthy Street Food” course, participants learn how to prepare popular classics from around the world in a healthier way using simple “healthy hacks.” Creative ideas demonstrate how to reduce fat, sugar, and unnecessary additives without sacrificing flavor.

Information: The “Urban Healthy Street Food” course takes place on October 27 from 5:00 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. at the Kniestedter Herrenhaus in Salzgitter-Bad and costs 38 euros, including the cost of ingredients.

Please bring: a sharp knife, containers for leftovers, a dish towel, and a drink.

Registration is required. The registration deadline is October 23.

You can register online via the Volkshochschule Salzgitter website or in writing using the registration form.

If you have any questions, please contact the Volkshochschule at 05341/839-3604.
