In addition to representatives of the political parties on the Council, members of associations, clubs and organizations active in the field of child and youth work were also involved in the revision.
On the one hand, editorial changes were made to ensure that the wording was clear and easy to understand. On the other hand, the content of previous regulations has been adapted to the necessities of practical implementation.
New regulations have been made in particular for events for children and young people, qualification measures in sport, the use of own rooms for youth work, the purchase of material resources and individual grants.
Around 300 associations, clubs, institutions and organizations have recently received the newly published brochure and a complete set of adapted forms and attachments from the city administration. This will inform those working with children and young people about the new regulations.
The revised forms and annexes can be accessed digitally on the City of Salzgitter's website at www.salzgitter.de. The guidelines are also available there in PDF format.
The brochures are available at the Citizens' Centers in Salzgitter-Lebenstedt and Salzgitter-Bad as well as at the Municipal Children and Youth Development Office (1st floor in the town hall) and in the office of the Children and Family Representative in the atrium of the town hall.
