Salzgitter

Duo "Lütt un Lütt" comes to Salzgitter

The duo "Lütt un Lütt" will be performing under their show title "Lust auf eine kleine Schlagerei?" on Saturday, June 13, at 3 p.m. in the St. Mariae-Jakobi Church at Altstadtweg 6 in Salzgitter-Bad.

The audience can expect a comedic afternoon of songs full of chansons, almost forgotten pop gems and shanties. "Lütt un Lütt" - that's Jana Biermann and Thorben Korn.
The plot of the show: she, a former harbor skipper and passionate hobby smutje, is looking for a man for life with that certain something and with a lot on top.
He, a former helmsman and poetry lover, is looking for a woman for romantic walks and crab-pulling.

The duo play the characters Erna and Werner - who meet again quite unexpectedly. Long time no see and yet they recognize each other. Coincidence or fate? Will their eternal on-off fling find a happy ending after all? He and she indulge in old memories and relive moments of their shared seafaring career, vacation trips and flirtations. Suddenly the forgotten color film comes back to mind, the legendary evening in Amsterdam or the exciting crime tango in the tavern. And what could be more natural than to revisit all these stories in the language of music!

From German Schlager gems from past decades to international evergreens and cabaret chansons: "Lütt un Lütt" has it all on tap and brings it to the stage in a charming and unconventional way. Equipped with piano, accordion, double bass and their two voices, Jana Biermann and Thorben Korn have a rich sound despite their compact line-up. As "Lütt un Lütt", they love to tell stories at events of all kinds, but also in their own comedic song recital, spreading catchy tunes and letting the audience forget the stress of everyday life for an hour or two.
