The social ticket
The Sozial-Ticket is a low-cost monthly ticket.
You need an eligibility card to buy it.
With the Sozial-Ticket, you can travel cheaper on buses in Salzgitter.
The Sozial-Ticket has been available since January 1, 2019.
The Sozialticket is available up to and including 2025.
Then we will take a look: How did it go?
If it has gone well, the social ticket will continue to exist.
Who gets a social ticket?
People get a social ticket:
- Who receive basic security benefits.
- Who cannot work and receive money from the authorities.
- Who receive social assistance or social money.
- Who have applied for asylum in Salzgitter.
The city has sent out the entitlement cards.
These can be used to apply for the Sozial-Ticket.
You have not received an entitlement card?
Contact the town hall, social services department.
You will receive your entitlement card there.
