Salzgitter

The neighborhood management team of Sabine Naats and Maximilian Grafinger is continuing its work in Steterburg and can still be contacted by people in the redevelopment area at the office on the market square.

The structural-social tandem approach started in 2018 has proven successful and will be continued in cooperation between Diakonie im Braunschweiger Land gemeinnützige GmbH and the planning office plan zwei from Hanover.

Previously, the cooperation was between Diakonie im Braunschweiger Land gemeinnützige GmbH and PLANUNGSGRUPPE STADTBÜRO (Dortmund), which works with the planning office plan zwei on various projects and has been present in Steterburg since January 2022 with Maximilian Grafinger as neighborhood manager.

PLANUNGSGRUPPE STADTBÜRO has now handed over the baton completely to the planning office plan zwei, which is continuing its cooperation with Diakonie im Braunschweiger Land gemeinnützige GmbH.

"An era is coming to an end and a new one is beginning," said City Planning Councillor Michael Tacke, thanking PLANUNGSGRUPPE STADTBÜRO. His special thanks for the many years of cooperation and support went to Karsten Schröder, Managing Director of Dortmunder PLANUNGSGRUPPE STADTBÜRO, who has worked in the various redevelopment areas in Salzgitter for over 20 years. "You have set important trends in the various neighborhoods: Starting as a neighborhood manager in the former redevelopment area in Fredenberg, as a commissioner in the Seeviertel urban redevelopment area, as the person responsible for neighborhood management in the Ost- and Westsiedlung and most recently accompanying and supporting in Steterburg," explained the city planning officer.

"We are delighted that the work in the new cooperation between plan zwei and Diakonie will continue seamlessly," said Michael Tacke. This is important for the people of Steterburg and for the future of the redevelopment area.

This was also emphasized by Petra Behrens-Schröter, the representative of Diakonie. She thanked Karsten Schröder for the successful collaboration, which Diakonie is happy to continue in the new cooperation with plan zwei.

This was echoed by Lisa Nieße, owner of the planning office plan zwei. "We want to shape Steterburg together and create something," she emphasized.

This was echoed by city planning officer Michael Tacke, who took a positive view of Steterburg and the further development of the district.

The Managing Director of PLANUNGSGRUPPE STADTBÜRO is taking the positivity back to Dortmund. "Salzgitter was always something special," emphasized Karsten Schröder. He started his career 22 years ago and is very pleased to have traveled this long and successful path together with the city of Salzgitter.

He thanked city planning officer Michael Tacke and everyone involved for the excellent cooperation. He wished the future projects in Steterburg every success.

He was assured of this by city planning officer Michael Tacke. "The Socially Integrative City project is a great opportunity for everyone involved, which can only succeed together with all local stakeholders," emphasized Michael Tacke.
