It’s Jakob’s birthday—or Christmas—and Jakob can’t fall asleep that night. He’s wearing his new magic hat. The new jungle painting with the lion hangs on the wall. The lion is crying because he misses his cub. Without a second thought, Jakob climbs right into the painting and promises to help.

He meets all kinds of animals, each with their own worries, and Jakob keeps promising to help until he doesn’t know what to do anymore. Even the magic hat remains empty. But when his tears fall into the hat, a big flower grows in the desert, the problems are solved, and finally, Jakob is able to fall asleep.

The story is performed by Nöck Gebhardt-Seele (formerly of Theater Fadenschein).
